« on: 14 April 2008, 13:01:58 »

Any ideas or does anyone know someone whos got one for sale?
This will be going inside my Omega by the way (hopefully).

I think you'll be hard pressed to buy one in this country - not that many came over.

May be better trying to import one from Aussie?

It was a Chevrolet LS1 IIRC. Might be easier to find..

Edited to say LS3 in later models.

has anyone on here done it before or will i be the first?
I might try and do a photoshop pic of the engine to see what it might look like.
I wonder how much it will effect the performance?

The 5.7 was an LS1, the later 6.0 is the LS2......

And yes, a certain Vx piece of software has every detail you could ever want regarding fitting a V8 in the Omega.....because they did it and then canceled the launch at the 11th hour.

Unfortunately is copyright material and not freely available so its iffy ground to discuss it on this site despite some people selling it on ebay.
