Tyre failure/problem

Really not trying to cause an argument here. But thought some may be interested in the pictures in this thread http://www.astraownersclub.com/vb/showthread.php/729676-Anyone-seen-anything-like-this

It would also seem tyres cause arguments on other forums aswell.

Please chaps no arguments it is just to see the tyre damage.

As others have said typical of a delaminating problem as seen usually on poor remoulds.  Not read all the thread though - is this a remould on a "new" car?  Unlikely I would have thought, but issue still delamination.

Thread suggests a 2nd hand car bought from a branded dealer, tyre in question is Infinity, so dealer or previous owner has put on budget tyre.

Bit like those SC5s, they didn't last quite as well as I had envisaged :P
