What are the ailments of failing donut bushes?

I have a rear end suspension problem when going over bumps in the road slight suspension movement
could also be a slight knock aswell

Checked the shocks and springs, exhaust for knocking

Soggy back end and general wallowing around corners, less pronounced than low tyre pressures but similar behaviour :y

Remove and replace with Monaro poly ones :y

Pedders EP1145 iirc, available from Monkfish for £99 + postage. Kit is the Monaro rear end kit, harrop diff :y

Slight suspension movement...? Over bumps...?

I don't want to sound pedantic or awkward or anything but where's the problem there? :)

What car? Elite? Mv6? Pressures? Tyre tread depth? Even wear?

I presume your getting some steering from the rear sensations?
