in that case, set up port forwarding, pick a port like 21 (ftp) and tell it to forward to your pc.
disable your firewall in windows
then run a port scan ( http://www.t1shopper.com/tools/port-scan/ )
when it scans port 21, and doesnt find it open, you know your router is faulty...now ring bt to complain ;)
tell them you want to run a server but cant as the HH is not forwarding properly.  they should replace it...what with, however is anyones guess, could be the rev b model, or could be a 4.

Will do  :y if they send a HH3 I can always sell it on eBay to pay partly for the HH4  :y

Had a HH2 which died after four years or so. Engineer had a boxed but untested HH3 in the van which worked for a month ::) coincidentally had an exchange fault at the same time as the HH3 died, got sent an HH4 next day in post for nowt.

No issues now :y

HH3 is very poor, got a pile of them at home. Wireless is bad on them (ironically the thing BT shouted from the rooftops as being good), and the functionality is low. And that gigabit port, WTF is all that about?

Not got my grubby mits on a HH4 yet, but I'm sure that the middleware will knobble any features present in the OEM's core product.

The wifi in this place is remarkably good considering how these villas are built. Still can't get wifi whilst sat on the potty in my room though :(

Quick Update:

So far I'd say my Internet has been worse with the HH4 over the HH3 well certainly not any better, Especially on the iPhone 5, It will say its got WiFi signal on the phone but nothing happens sometimes when this happens I have to restart the phone, But saying that it does work fine 65% of the time, Can't say if its any faster or not just the same I'd say and the distance if anything is a little worse than the HH3 could travel  :(

On the PS3 and Laptops they perform just the same I'd say... Might switch back to the HH3 if it doesn't get any better on the iPhone 5...

Just thought I'd update with my findings with this Latest BT Home Hub ...

I use a netgear WAP for my WiFi as opposed to the sky router which is woefully inadequate for my needs but I have to use it as per the terms and conditions of my contract.  The netgear is so good I doubt I will ever use a supplier's router wifi again.  I don't just get wifi on every crapper in the house, but also on the road outside which is handy for google navigation.
