Omega insurance for 17 year old.
« on: 20 May 2008, 01:04:45 »

Was looking at an american site, few oof members on it. Notice a young lad had just got a Caddi, their Omega, I asked him about insurance, just out of interest, his reply;

"the cars unders my dads name, so he's only paying $200 every month whew.."

Makes our insurance look cheap, I think????????

My sister-in-laws youngest is 18 and just bought a 1.6 Focus. She is on her mums insurance and that costs her £150 a month :o

If you work out the exchange rate which is nearly $2 to the £ thats works out at just over £100 per month which is cheaper than the 1.6 Focus mentioned above, another example of rip off Britain. :-[

Yes, and the interesting fact is that there is a significant percentage (I believe from what I have read on http://www.insurancejournal.com/news/national/2006/06/28/69919.htm
as high as 14.6 percent in
2004.) of American drivers who do not have any insurance cover! :o :o
