Had to take swmbo into hospital today, thought they were going to keep her in yesterday after results of a scan, but no beds available so at least she has had a little time to get used to the idea. She s not happy, by 5.30pm having arrived at 1.30pm there had been none of the further tests talked about yesterday, indeed nothing. No tests or anything yet, just medical history and the normal weights, pulse etc, that's why she is not happy. I think she secretly hoped that she would be on her way home tonight, which we all knew would not be the case. Hope to find out more tomorrow.
James Cook hospital in Middlesbrough, about 40 minutes in the Jeep rather than our local hospital about 15 mins away, might have to used the Mig for a few days..........
I was in this hospital for some massive work to be done some years ago and very different now, staff were great but so overstretched; the hca came to do some swabs and bits and bobs, if she left to get something she ended up doing something else as well, before getting back us. My boss had warned me about ‘poor care’ this morning, I thought she was mistaken, how wrong was I?............
