A kit car with a Rover V8 struggles to get 30mpg.....so a house brick with one fitted sticks no chance!

Maybe he's got a particularly large rust hole in the driver's side floorpan that allows him to use a hybrid "fred flintstone" drive system meaning he only has to fire up the V8 when maximum performance is required.

Considering the size, weight, and the fact it is as aerodynamic as a brick, and not forgetting its tractor engine, I was pleasantly surprised with its performance.  Won't win many races, but by no means a slug.

Must be, as my tractor has some aerodynamic plus points.  Sod all else going for it, obviously  (he says gingerly, hoping it will get him to the slums of Manchester (aka Salford) and back tomorrow)

One of the reasons I wanted a Jaguar XJ8 (which I never got) was because it had a deeply recessed speedo not visible from the passenger seat.   :)

My (non-driver) wife goes into panic mode if I go above 75.   :(  For some strange reason, we don't get out much these days :-/

Just keep it planted. They go quiet again when you reach 3 figures.  ;D
