I've been following the posts on this topic and if there were more constructive comments and less insults he might have achieved something more possitive,but since most of you are more concerned in senseless "banter" I wonder if you ever get anything done successfully

Exactly what I thought, no money to fix it. But suddenly got a new car from a dealer     

So instead of listening to advice here, posting lots of information about the fault, getting honest advice on the best way to repair it. You've gone into debt for a replacement car? 

and i am cutting my loses now . you cant keep throwing money at it . i know when to stop . so giving no more money out on it

Only concern is the sump strainer , now hes got me worried and ill have to drop the sump
