Not another tyre thread!!

Oh well, if you cannot beat them................
The day before yesterday I had a full set of Pirelli P7's fitted to my new beast. The set I bought with the car were new, but were of dubious origin - not of a known brand to me - so as my policy is always to upgrade my tyres to full specification for continuous high speed running, I changed them.

Not a bad choice old girl, but Gooodyear Eagle F1 asy 2 reign supreme......
P.S......it's fortunate that your pockets are bottomless, Lizzie.

Not bottomless Opti exactly, but when it comes to safety money is irrelevant. In fact I had new front discs with pads, and brake fluid put in the new car yesterday, with full adjustment of all to give me piece of mind and the best braking system I can obtain on a miggy.
It was heartening though to hear the garage guys talking about how good the car was; "so clean and tidy, like new", and it had a genuine GM exhaust system that was not that old. Gave me a real buzz!!
