That was the idea of the Monza    That's like saying. Shame my MX5 only has 2 seats

Aye i know. Was just thinking out loud as if this was a saloon being RWD and with smaller engines (than a VXR8 i mean) available it would have potentially become an Omega successor 

Probably be around the 20k - 30k mark maybe even more.

But what did the Omega replace? Smaller engine options were only available to the Carlton/Omega A to appease the masses. The Senator was dropped. The Monza was a little more upmarket that the Manta ...... a bit like the Monaro is/was now.

Looks like it might be a badge engineered Cadillac CTS Coupe time will tell...
