Its all a matter of personal taste and opinion - personally think it looks good from front view, then imo its all out of perspective.  Each to their own though ???

Now look dbug, this has to stop. Your agreeing with ME now. Your making me nervous.  :-\

 ;D

Didn't notice your post - wouldn't knowingly agree with you  ;D ;D ;D ;D
No ulterior motive ;)

But wouldn't want to be seen as argumentative for arguments sake  ;) ;)

At a guess would say that it's based on the Cadillac CTS coupe, and on that basis wouldn't be at all surprised if it's left hand drive only :-\

'It has been 16 years since the death of Vauxhalls' last big coupe, the Calibra...'

Who writes this shite ;D The Monaro was sold until 2007, which even my fingers and toes makes only 6 years ago, and it was a damn site bigger than a two door Chavalier hatchback ::)

Looks like it might be a badge engineered Cadillac CTS Coupe :-\ time will tell...

not only that,   but

The Monza name has been used before in the UK on an Opel-badged coupe, which later became the Vauxhall Royale.

For crying out loud, most of these pics are for the concept car. FFS.  If ever they did bring the concept car into existence, it would be dramatically remodelled, both for usability and for manufacturing.

Someone sounds grumpy..  :o

It's just something to pass the time, It does look as if the Monza will be going into production at some point, The way officially Opel and Vauxhall are talking about it and the major car magazines. Obviously it won't look exactly like the pictures but the overall shape will be close. As for the interior there's no sense to how it would work just looks like something from Star Trek.

Front looks good (compared to how cars are going these days) sides OK, Back questionable. We'll just have to wait and see.

What will be released will be nothing like the concepts. Yet people were looking at it as if it was real.

Not sure how an Opel Monza can come back if it's not running on a V Car chassis derivative?

For the benefit of TB amongst others...

We need more variety like these in the VX line up so they can become great value used buys in the future, The VXR8 isn't for everyone we'd all love one but the running costs  :-\

Say a few engine's around the 2.5 - 4.0 mark and RWD.

Regarding the Monza there are mixed reports whether it will be RWD or not or even be a "petrol only" car or some kind of hybrid like the Ampera idea. Hopefully more info will be released at the Frankfurt 2013 auto show 10th of September.

Where it will be launched as a 1.6t wwd Insignia Coupe, just before it gets canned as a non starter. Hopefully. I remember going to the Epcot Centre in 1989. One thing at  the GM display was a flying car concept with clip on wings. That was doubtless showcased at Detroit the previous year. Can't recall ever seeing one since ::)
