Hamilton on Pole

Just seen qualifying for the German gp. Quite exciting at the end I thought.  :y


Pipped that pesky Vetal on the last lap right at the death. Couldn't have timed it better ;)

Are we seeing the start of a new era of Mercedes dominance in F1...?

I do hope so. Anything other than Red Bull. :)

Anthony Davidson is doing an excellent job with his analysis of the pole laps.

He picked out an over steer correction on Lewis's lap that was so quick I didn't even notice it first time round. Lewis did quite well too. :y

Yep, pole doesn't help you much if you're going to get mugged by the next two guys off the start line ;)

Poor old Webber. Odd how his wheel fell off right after he announced he was leaving the team? ;D

Vetel had two absolutely perfect stops,of just over 2 seconds iirc.Weber was about to come out of the pits to take the lead from him(and ignore team orders when they came,no doubt) and all of a sudden they have a big problem changing a wheel. I try not to be a conspiracy theorist,but....... ::)
The Red Bulls were repeatedly practising their starts every chance they got over the weekend,undoubtedly to test some new system or software.
At the start Hamilton got a pretty good start and then they both drove straight past him.I would like to know what thy changed on the car from the last race. Don't trust them.
Shame the race hadn't been one lap longer.Kimi would have had a well deserved win.
