Alistair Cook is turning into Andrew Strauss. Measley total again. Everyone seems to think England will retain the ashes, I'm not so sure.

Jonathan Trott and Kevin Pieterson seem to be our best hope and they're South African.  ;D

Being paid to watch it here, as we have our new iPad/Web Companion. I do like fact you can see every ball on Hawk Eye, shows how close some go!

Early wicket not good, they need to dig in and get a nice big score 350+

I'm not that bothered usually, Rog, but it is Australia we're talking about.

This has nothing AT ALL to do with cricket. Its about shutting up the Goby Ausies. ;D

England selectors don't seem to have noticed that they destroy the form of every England player they make captain. Every time.

Pick a good captain, not a good player.

Ah ok then, great stufff

"Pick a good captain, not a good player."

The ancient Chinese strategist Sun Tzu who wrote a book called "The Art Of War" said something along lines that there was no such thing as bad soldiers, just bad officers. Same thing then ?  :y

They look tentative, nervous. The weight of expectation. Trent bridge could turn out to be good for the bowlers.

Yes. Definitely a bowlers wicket. This could be all over by Friday.

Ausies 75 for 4.

The wicket is a leveller. Clearly.

That Siddle needs needs shutting up too. And Anderson is the man to do it.

As Botham says, you can't judge the game until both sides have had a bowl.
