New Battery Time
« on: 12 July 2013, 01:56:17 »

I bought a 2.2 CD Petrol a while back, seemed a bit weak on either the battery or starter as soon as I 1st tried it, cars been stood quite a while and neither of the 2 attempts to recharge the battery worked.

Rung round the local parts shops, £45 to £55 for 1 and 2 year warranty batterys or £57 for one with three years, I think the 2 year one may have been a boch battery.

But as an afyer thought I rang Halfrauds, they quoted me £44.99 and a four year warrany, just been on thier web site and the spec says its a calcium battery - are they any good compared to the lead acid ones?

TIA  :y
