Shocking how things have changed...
« on: 14 July 2013, 02:17:44 »

... In such a short time as well.. I'll let the pictures do the talking. Price aside obviously but those figures are  :o very very good compared to any Omega. I know it's not really fair to compare side by side but thought I'd share, after seen these figures I could almost live with the BMW badge. :o :y ... This probably goes for all new cars Audi, Mercedes etc just haven't looked at any of them.

Yep that engine is the one IMO. But its no good ignoring the price. Or that poxy badge.

There's a guy I see enter the m4 from 8/9 quite often on my way home. One of those really aggressive "Must get immediately in lane 3" and sit there idiots. Cut straight across the car behind me, so they all (everyone back to London) had to brake hard to deal with him.
But I swear, as he changed lanes he did so by sticking his right elbow out as if to barge people out of his way, along with a mouthed expletive.
Are these the new BMW indicators, these barging Elbows? And do you have to go on a "special" BMW course to get them? Because he gave no other indication of what the hell he was doing.

£33,000 was roughly the list price of a new Elite back in 2003. :'(

This is because you can either download all of your music on to the cars hard-drive from CD's or your entire iPod in one hit. That way, there's no need to have the CD's in the vehicle.  :y

Is the BMW 3.0 diseasal particularly special? How does the GM/Isuzu 3.0 V6 diesel used in the Signum compare?

I calculate I can do 123735 miles on £31,500 at 25MPG ( I get better than that), at 8000miles per year, that's 15 years, Not considering how else I might have spent the money in the meantime. ::) ::) ::)

Pictures loaded ok :y but a bit of a non comparison imho :-\ better would be the performance and economy figures from the more powerful of the two straight six diesels or a 3.0 petrol BMW ::)
