Chrysler 300C SRT-8
« on: 14 July 2013, 21:45:19 »

One of these was beside me at the lights earlier today. Looks very good indeed and sounds even better. Anyone have any experience of these, could this be considered as a replacement for the mig? From what I see online they have a 6.1 litre v8 and rwd so thats enough boxes ticked for me, what are they like inside though and are they problematic??

Must admit I looked at these as a replacement for Omega Elite - but yep they do look like a drug dealers car, hence an X350 Jaguar for me ;)

A quick car, a few weeks ago I sat waiting for a green light on my bike & the 300c next to me burned rubber & piled on the power trying to out sprint me. I was impressed for such a big car.

We have a 300c estate diesal in the family,Mercedes running gear, very well specd.
Sat nav, leather, electicky seats, super cold air con, arm chair comfy seats.Handles like a armchair on wheels just about enough room in boot for a weeks shopping, its sooo american, but running cost resonable as its merc underneath.
about 40mpg at 80 ish on mway.

From the pics I saw of saloons I thought the boot was going to be omega sized! Sounds very good otherwise though, lookis like I might have to become a drug dealer in the future then  :y

Must admit I do like the estate  :) Diesel ones are cheaper tax too 08 plate £280 per year. Not so sure how the handling would be though given its American, although I don't think at 2385kgs you could throw it around anywhere.  :D

Handling aside (I've heard people say it's beyond poor but never driven one), I wonder how long I could keep convincing myself that it's not heinously ugly? ::)
