Removing Stem Seals

Hi folks , could anyone tell me of the correct valve stem removal tool i need to take out the old ones and put new ones in . 2000 Vectra 2.0 16v  :-\

Sorry i meant valve stem seals , not valve stems  :( Is it like a spring com- presser or can it be done without the tool ?? The head is coming off anyway ..

You may be able to hire one rather than buy,if your unlikely to use it regularily.

Thanks Albs , i cant see anywhere that hires them around here though  :( Ive seen a sealy one brand new for £24 unless someone near could lend me one  :-\

I think there is a slightly charred one in a green house in brackley just below a smashed window, it might be worth enquiring about?

Got a valve spring compressor available in luton, but won't be back until Friday afternoon - you're welcome to borrow, last used on astra and megane(yuck- horrible thing to work on - rather do 6 astra heads than 1/4 of a megane)
