I think the Campaign Against Aviation would have something to say about that!

Still, having recently witnessed the state of the art in human powered flight barely get off the ground I'll be sitting on my deposit for a while yet.

Be interesting to see it land/take off in a street with all the street furniture around  or would every last green space in towns/cities become no go areas for pedestrians.

I haven't been to Deland in Florida since 1994. Several of these used to fly around at the airport there.

Hardly new

As has been said, might be difficult landing amongst the street cables and other stuff.

Beats sitting in a car though (when you're going nowhere). Don't 'spose it's much fun in the rain and snow.....

Plenty of open space in Lonon to takeoff and land although not sure on the restrictions on air space (corridors, Thames, etc) but should not be too difficult to figure out.

The biggest restriction in my view is not being able to use it in winds over 15-20mph.

Can you imagine the chaos in our skies if these become widespread! 

The riders would ignore all the rules of the skies and of course the skyway code wouldn't apply to them, they'd arrogantly fly about generally cutting all up and getting in everyone's way and then they'd complain like hell when they cut up the inside of a Jumbo into it's blind spot, which then crushes them as it turns left!!!

well I think its a great idea
as all the people above are bmw and audi drivers so the roads will be a lot safer!
only downside is that a you would have to watch out for them falling out of the sky
