Anti-freeze. Is this suitable?
« on: 25 July 2013, 20:01:18 »

Without TC, this is the cheapest I can find. It works out at £13 for each 5 litre can.

I'm guessing it's the real stuff.

Works out pretty cheap especially if you've got more than one car to do... Was thinking about getting this one from official VX eBay but  it ain't cheap..

EDIT: Probably cheaper at local VX ?

Opti, that's about as cheaply as you could blag it from a VX dealer :y

Mr Omegaman, VX have cottoned onto the fact that people will buy anything at any price simply because it's there. Hence asking full price for the coolant, then charging another £10 for postage. Even if your local dealer won't discount it, I'll wager that it won't cost you £10 to collect it from them ::)

Looks that way...  :-\

Probably £5 in fuel plus no waiting for delivery... and IMO dangerous chemicals like this shouldn't be sold on the likes of eBay.

I think that it probably is, Kevin.

If not, then there are some 'very naughty boys' on Ebay. :-\

I presume that GM produce the stuff it in twenty litre drums.

As to whether it's more effective as coolant than a chick-attractant... ;)
