Lawnmower plug?
« on: 27 July 2013, 19:42:53 »

I've just taken the spark plug out of my petrol mower........it's a TORCH F6RTC long reach plug.

I don't have a spare.

Any idea what the equivalent Champion or NGK would be?

Thanks, chaps. :y

Are you sure it needs replacing? They last forever those things. Hardly get much abuse.

Indeed. Had petrol mowers for years, mostly acquired as basket cases and repaired. Don't think I've ever had to change a plug.

Clean and regap every year when I service the mower, never replaced in 12+ years...   ...though I suspect the insurance will want to see service receipts before coughing up for a replacement.

It not giving me any problems, quite the opposite in fact.

I just thought I should have a spare in case the original plug goes 'tits up'.

The original is about 3 years old..........and has done about 20 miles. ::) ::) :D

 4 stroke OHV 118c.c......cost £89.

It's exported all the way from China to Homebase and yet they still make a profit.

They must pay the workforce peanuts in China. :-\
