250 people have complained. :o :o Viewers complained "it trivialises the work of animal welfare charities". WTF? ??? ???

"This ad shows no regard for all those involved with animal welfair [sic] and I personaly [sic] will no longer eat Marmite till this ad is pulled"

What a twonk. ::) ::) >:(

We've actually got a serious problem. Regardless of the subject someone somewhere will always "be offended" or object in some way by anything and everything. A big problem is that people actually respond, with something like "We take the issue of (whatever) very seriously, and will be (Whatevering) blah blah.

Some time ago an oversensitive lady at a business meeting told me that she found something harmless and trivial that I said "offensive". My response of "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" did NOT go down too well  ::)

But that needs to happen more, so that attention is drawn to real injustices.

Ever since the term 'politically correct' came about I suppose? Whatever is said these days, someone is offended.

We need to build another Greenham Common or something. A huge magnet for these idiots' offence, that will stop them getting all het up over total trivia.
