Alarm goes off
« on: 08 August 2013, 14:11:30 »

Hi,

I m here with 2 problems but related to same issue >:(

Alarm goes off after an hour as soon I double lock the car with the remote but if I keep it to single it doesn't goes off.

Also, if I double lock the car and open it with the key instead of unlocking it with remote the alarm doesn't goes off and only flashes light.

so Annoying!!!

Can anyone help on this...

Thanks,

Sounds like your alarm horn is dead/disconnected.

The siren is the powersounder - best advise is to disconnect it and remove it - known on some cars to catch alight.

Also check bonnet alarm switch - just disconnect it and see if it makes any difference.
