I must admit, it's not the fault of the staff in the hospitals, but the care I received varied from excellent to very poor(!) just over the course of a few days!

You must have got some extra special care LD to come home with the clap!!     Dirty nurses!!   

I think the clap would have been better... Looks like a burn with the skin peeling away It really should hurt more than it does But the morphine is working

Whoever invented that deserves the nobel prize, a bloody awesome drug

Iirc, a sharp blow to the noggin wiv a mallet did the trick 'back in the day' on 'repeat' prescription until the pain subsided!
But then were 'ard oop North!

Morphine, did nothing for me when took into hospital a few years ago with pleurisy, now that is painful.......
