Hi guys,

my new lady friend has a pug 206. nice car. used to working on them too due to there being 2 in the workshop. however her drivers door swings all the way open. I looked at the door strap and its not connected as per the following photo. I cant work out whether the strap has disappeared in to the door or whether it actually is broken off. any ideas?



ps, the piece pn the right coming out of the door moves up and down but wont move at all towards the body.

oh yes t should pull out towards A post--pin has pulled out of bracket on A post-needs pin removing and new pin or nut/bolt fitting

And they will need a lot of force to pull back out.

so should I be pulling the strap out of the door with plenty of force.... then undoing where it connects in the door. then replace with new strap?
