Following your lead I went to spray my yellow bits with a can of chrome spray I knew I had lying around in the shed.

I got the oil cap off but couldn't find the can so gave up - of course in my haste I never put it back right and now I've got oil all over the engine bay!   Not the desired effect I wanted.

Didn't know whether to laugh or cry  :'(

Cap was on but just missed the threads so I got away with just a mess at the back of the block.

All clean now  :y

Do you think AA would mind a quick power wash just to be sure?

If your going to spray these items, give them a good rub with a green pan scourer first so the paint gets a good key.....

I don't need to spray them, they are all ready to go on, the coating on the ali surface is a bit like rubbersied see through plastic. Its to go on top of the wood trim, cheaper than original ali Vx trims. :y
