I think I already went on and in one of those at a water park in Florida. Instead of travelling horizontally it went vertically.  ;D ;D

Leicester had plans for a monorail above street level back in 1974. If only they had gone ahead.

Todays shambles with rail fares going up 4.1% and still there isn't enough rolling stock because there are too many users. What a business model? Makes the HS2 plans look ridiculous.

I used to work in a shop that had something like that to send money to the cashier, who then sent a receipt and any change back - Greenwoods in Stockton....... :-X

Greenwoods- I remember you working there Dad. ;D ;D  Tesco at Scarborough has that system now. The pipes from the tills, unbelievably go down and along the ceiling of the underground carpark.  A couple of years ago , robbers "diverted" the pipes and had up to an hour of despatches before they had to make good their escape.
