The stuff I've kept!
« on: 14 August 2013, 13:08:57 »

Sorting through all sorts of odds and ends I've found a Motor Fuel Ration Book. For those of you with long enough memories you may recall that 1974 saw the country in the grip of a fuel shortage scare,it was at this time I bought a 1964 Mk3 Zephyr 4.This was/is the only car I've ever bought on finance[it was on a traders forecourt at £99!!]Anyway as the fuel scare was on it was supplied with a book of coupons to be used when purchasing petrol[it was of course never needed]and although the car went to the breakers donkeys years ago I've still got the coupons!!On the front it has [among other things]the following;Motor Car 1501-2200cc 14-19HP!!
