Halfords Brake shoes?
« on: 20 August 2013, 19:29:20 »

So i need new brake shoes for the 2.2, as mine fell apart on inspection  ::)

General thoughts appear to be Halfrauds due to Vx's high cost on these, also helps I've got trade access, but searching online and popping to store, found no brake shoes for the Omega? Although in the shop they had Shitron AX on the shelf  :o  ;D

Lists nothing based on either car reg:

Slightly shot shoes:

I can't grumble, they are original to the car  ;D

Reason for asking is research on previous threads show loads people quite happy with Halfrauds sourced ones. Also handy as its close to work

Go straight to your local factor, and they'll be in stock, which is far more convenient and helpful ;D

^^^^^ This, without the joke!

Only spotty teenagers need handbrakes when impressing schlaaaaaaags at the local McDonalds.  THATS A FAKT!

I know it's factual, because I've witnessed it.

Where does one buy a 'handbrake' from?  :-\

Springs, like shoes I highly suspect are original to the car.

if the springs are anything like mine on the ford you'll want to replace them to cover for if you get it wrong and bend 'em as theyre under a lot of tension

Cheers, cannot appear to find spring kit though. Found standard pad kit, but not drum kit.

Cheers, so around £16 delivered, un-branded though. Think its worth extra fiver from eurocarparts.

Where did you get your springs from mate?
