Not me, mind's good for another 18months or 20k miles. Although it has started to leak oil, so I suspect the cam-cover gaskets are due.
I think I'd rather do the belt.

Elite Estate due now, my 2.2 in about 7k

I still have the cam lock from SWMBO's 16valve Astra G. Do I take it to Newent & hand it to Jamie for you? It's of no use to me now.  ;)

(assuming it fits your car  ;))

But it might be of use for my 2.2 if it comes back down this end  ;)

Mine's due in about 8k I think... Not been in the car since somewhere around the 10th and not sure when I'll next be in it ::)

That said, I'm hoping to be able to start driving very short distances in the next week-10 days ::)

Mines a couple of thousand over mileage wise and a year over timewise, but as she's been mostly parked up this year that's OK by me!   It'll get done when I start using her regularly again, which hopefully will be within the next couple of months!  :)

You're not getting your hands dirty then .......  ::) ::) ::)

I shouldn't as it is the week before Wales, a race I have spent a year preparing for.  But I just know I will no doubt succumb and twirl spanners at some point :-[

Thanks for offer Andy  :y

Think they are all the same 1.6/1.8/2.0/2.2 locks, fairly sure I still have mine in the garage.

Although I have a feeling i lent it to little fatty who took it to a meet of some kind, can't remember if i got it back.

Hope it was not in his garage!  ;D

Well I've changed a fair few cambelts for members, but in terms of my own workhorse...I needed a cambelt about 6 years or 40,000 miles ago  ::)

Then again, it is a TDdI Fiesta... if I blow it up, that's an excuse to get an Omega...  ;D
