New lower idler.... bit of movement....
« on: 27 August 2013, 10:59:58 »

Hi guys,

I got new cambelt kit on the post (as mentioned in the backing plate thread.... thanks to all for input on that)

I picked up the lower idler and if youre holding it then turn it upside down theres a little clunk. nothing moves as you  in to it.... but I was just making sure that was right as I don't want an idler to fail like in jimbobs story  :o :o :o :)

thank you

Been reading your other thread about taking the heads off and finding bent valves :(

What happened? Did the old cambelt let go before you got around to changing it? Or did this new idler fail on you?
