Digging party at dtm's house...?
« on: 01 September 2013, 20:59:04 »

Now then. I rekon its a fair bet there's a few members out there that have had a fair bit of help from Mr Dtm over the years? Yes?

I know I have. And seeing as he's a clever old stick, there's probably not much that I/we can do to return a favour for HIM. :-\

But, during Newent weekend, he did mention he might need a bit of help with a project he has going. I'm not sure if he was joking, I'm sure he'll pipe up, but it might be the case that he could do with some help from us oofers ...?

Digging footings was mentioned, I think its fair to say, and that access was an issue, so might need alot of manual labour. Of course I immediately crapped me pants and blamed me bad back. However, the conversation went a bit quiet  :-[ and I completely forgot to ask him about it at the evening do.

So, I may be jumping the gun and being a bit presumptuous here, but I thought it better to do something, tether than nothing.

If a master needs a hand, I'm up for it if I can. :)

If he was pulling me leg then I've just made a plumb of meself and no harms done. :y

I'm praying he can get a mini digger down the side ally or summat, but he didn't sound like that was likely..?

You wouldn't think it, with my leather shoes and occasional suits...but I've done a suprising amount of work with family members who do this work all the time!
I'd be happy to have a go  :y
