Awful weekend
« on: 25 May 2008, 15:19:39 »

Been camping in the Wye Valley this weekend

Nothing but rain, cold, wet. We now all have filthy colds.

Think we may have annoyed my boss, who we were camping with, and who is interviewing me for a promotion on Tuesday AM

Arrived home at Maria's to discover the lock on the front door had been forced off, so now awaiting for the Police to come and dust for prints  >:(

Bad news James --- not only about the weather and the upcoming interview prospects --- but to come home to a forced entry is not good at all!

I hope there wasn't too much damage inside or that too much has gone missing.

That was rotten luck, and the Wye Valley can be so beautiful and enjoyable.  :'(

On top of that to come back and find the break-in was terrible; I know how that feels, and I am so glad that nothing seems to me missing. :y :y

Hope you all recover soon James! :y

Real sorry to hear about the break-in, shame you couldn't get some of Gaffers boys in to watch over the house when you are away. Just imagine the burgler's face when he gains entrance only to be looking down the barrels of a couple of SA80's !   ;D ;D ;D

Time for a sharp exit followed by a change of career  :y

Sympathies. Weather been fine in Immingham with a refreshing breeze. Washed & shammied the Mig today, hoping for a dry night so can polish tomorow. :y
