ABS TC Lights on/off.
« on: 14 September 2013, 09:06:27 »

Back again, Some days the TC and ABS lights are off all day sometimes on for a while and then most days on all the time. I have been trying to find a relay but can't identify one for the abs. Is there one in the ECU. I suspect this or maybe a connector somewhere. If the electronics were at fault I wouldn't expect the unit to work at all and the lights would be on permanently. This seems to be an intermittent fault. Anyone with any ideas? Thanks.

The Senator/Carlton had relays in the actual ABS unit itself ...... never had the need to look on the Omega  :-\ Does your speedo & power steering fail when your TC & ABS lights are on?

The power steering was a bit heavy the last time I drove it with the abs and tc lights on also the speedo wasn't working.

Abs ecu for definite, ecutesting.com or bbareman will fix them or a second hand one from the same engine/gearbox combo(ie v6 auto)
