Access to pay online not working

Hi all....
When trying to pay for car tax, or other stuff, the web page works ok, but won't let me through to pay (checkout).
Anybody got any idea's.
OS is Vista

first thing is to clear your cookies:
Go to history>clear history>cookies

secondly:
try a different browser ("google chrome" or "mozilla firefox") I recommend firefox.

thirdly:
do you get an error code at all?

last:
get rid of vista, and install a good operating system. like, well... anything else

Thanks fellas.....but its not my computer. It belongs to a friend who has given it to me to try to sort. If it was mine, I would ditch Vista like a hot cake. However, for now....I am stuck with it.
When I got it, it would barely work, but now boots ok, and shuts down ok. IE works, as does everything, except proceeding to checkout, and the Sky email. It accepts the login, but where in incoming mail should be, its a blank page.
Thanks for suggestions, I'll keep trying :y

Can you be sure the machine isn't compromised? Does sound suspicious.

I think you're flogging a dead horse. Once a pc gets to that stage, it's a new one or, at least, a rebuild.
