back home at last

at last im home after 10 weeks and1 day in the bristol heart intitute i nad 4 major operations the first was a quad bypas which went ok but 1 week later i got a chest infection  during a visit from  my motherther i coughed and broke the wires which tied my sturnham together so they knoked me out and wired it back together again but they put a 4 inch pump inside my chest to drain away the infected gunge but as they stitched me up i coughed again under anesthetic and shot the pump and outher stuf on to the floor this resulted in them temporary closing my chest till they decided what to do during this time i deteriated so much  that i was only givena20% chance of living  when they operated again they found that my sturnham and some of my ribs had rotted with the infection and had to be removed they replaced it with muscle and skin from  my stomach and legs and touchwood im still here to tell the tale
therers a lot mor detaial i could go in to but its  not very nice

I'm sorry to hear about the ordeal you have been through, and I'm glad you have made it through and are now on the road to recovery.  :y :y :y :y Take it easy at it is going to take time for everything to heal.

My heart goes out to you and yours, Kev. You poor bugger. I think many of us would have wanted to cash our chips in. By the sounds of it, it will be a long and difficult recovery. Love to you and your family, Steve.
