« on: 26 May 2008, 16:47:17 »

....had a trip down to Lindfield today just off M23, towards brighton :y..to see my friend whom I loaned my laptop to almost over a year and a half ago, reason I had to go down as could'nt get an asnwer on his friggin phone. Anyway got there said his son dropped the laptop off, thought great :y, then later said no he DROPPED IT >:(...he had taken down computer shop who said it needed a new motherboard. Anyway he now has to get me a replacement laptop, now I have to look and see what on the market with a similar type spec., this one did cost originally £1500 :'(...I should have stayed at home today :(

A decent "mate" would have apologised, told you of the problem, and investigated a replacement .... not refused to take calls and wait for you to turn up .....  :( :( :( :(
