unconnected hose
« on: 05 October 2013, 16:05:42 »

Hello,
I have just replaced all the rubber gromets on the fuel injectors on my 2.5 Omega.
on putting everything back I discovered a hose that does not seem to go anywhere. it is quite a thick walled hose that disappears to the rear of the car.
can anyone suggest where it might go?
only clean responses please.

James, as Rob says this is the Gearbox breather pipe and enters the engine bay at the rear from beneath the passenger side (at least on my car it does!) and is usually just hooked over the nearest/highest solid pipework at the rear of the engine on the drivers side :y

Thanks. Ithought I was going mad as I did not remember disconnecting it and I could not find anywhere to connect it to.
I will just leave it hanging.
