Hi can anyone help my father has a omega 2.0 getting lots of problems with cam sensor its ok for a while then engine light comes on when I check it with "My Code Reader" calls up the camsensor I changed it last week for a genuine one it run great fir a bout 200 miles and engine has come on is there anything else that would cause this any help would be great

The only cam sensors that work properly are genuine ones from a Vauxhall dealer. Expensive, but they do work reliably. Is yours from a dealer?
Mine was failing when I got the car, changed it for one from a dealer, which required changing the loom connector.
 All was good.
The code has come up since, but on that occasion the sensor was doing a good job of telling me that my cambelt tensioner was getting loose, due to my own mistake of badly fitting a new kit  :-[.
So I would check the cambelt too for any issues, if you have not done so already.

Thanks for your help bud I think his Cambelt does need changing will look into that
