I'll be up at 05.45, full English with a couple of pints of Peroni and back to bed at 09.00 ready for roast beef and all the trimmings with a nice bottle of Margaux for lunch, followed by another nap, then out with the dogs for an hour before hitting the pub. Back in time for Downtown SWMBO says and then bed. Senna is a brilliant film she got it me last Christmas on DVD. :y :y

We always watch the bike racing on Eurosport, find the commentators are better personally.Don't know about the BBC coverage but the high definition slow motion pictures shown on Eurosport are awesome.

Ive got the DVD of Senna and have watched it four times, but Ive just watched it again on tv. I find it mesmerising.
Not just the greatest F1 driver ever imo,but a fascinating character.Im sure he would have been something great (such as president of Brazil ?) after he retired.
Highly intelligent, emotional, compassionate, but not a good enemy to make. A fascinating and enigmatic character.
Interesting to note that people in the film including Frank Williams make it pretty obvious that it was at least highly suspected that Schumacher and Benneton were cheating, but it wouldn't be easy to prove.
I wonder if Schumachers tears some time later when he spoke of Senna, were tears of guilt at the fact Senna was killed trying to win against him when he was cheating ?

Yes Its a shame Eurosport can't show the main event live. I find Charlie Cox(?) on the BBC irritating, so wait for the Eurosport coverage instead.

Oh, and the BBC pre race chat is a rubbish IMO. Who are those people?(like I care) :(

And the slow mo's, as you say, are mesmerising. :y

First time I have seen it... can't believe it was 19 years ago :o

You have to wonder why Sennas suspicions about the Benetton team were never raised officially at earlier races, only coming to light in the aftermath of the San Marino race :-\
