As long as don't get any punctures, I'm not aiming to buy tyres for the 2.2 for the next 60k  :D

I know that the 2.2 is slightly anaemic and doesn't have much poke.........but 60,000 miles.... :o :o :o

Is that possible?..... ;D ;D

Got a set of Kumo 31's with bags of tread, also Winter set of Goodyear Winter Sport 3D's also with bags of tread. I'll swap to the Goodyears in about a month or so

Given i can fairly easily get 30k from a set of boots, should be ok.

That means 230k odd (now at 166k) before i need new boots  :D

I may need a new pair of tyres very shortly, can anybody advise as to what grade of steel and which profile I should get?

A bloke down he pub told me German Part Worns are the bestest and better than new rubber because they have only driven on silk and camel skin.

From now on, I'll never buy new.  :-*

We need to lobby parliament for rubber roads, that way we can all have concrete tyres that never wear out.

I'm sure there's a concrete test that's relevant to the omega somewhere on the web. :)
