Absolutely. The only interest I have in the whole thing is that of a taxpayer who doesn't want to subsidise it in any way shape or form.
I would imagine postmen will be even less common than milkmen delivering milk to the doorstep in less than 10 years.

Rhetorical question, but are they completely stupid? They don't seem to have grasped the concept of competitive business in a free market Those who didn't apply for shares on principle seem intent on devaluing the stock value simply to spite those that did...

I wouldn't mind if all the post stopped.

All I get at my current house (moved into a year ago) is about 5 letters a day for the previous occupant pretty much ALL asking for money to send to Nigeria etc

All my utilities etc send me emails, and anything worth having comes by courier.

Well, they will simply be following the British Leyland car plant workers, the printers, the steelmen and the coal miners!

Didn't the Maggie Thatcher years teach them anything about the evolution of industry and how you can strike to lose an an already obsolescent job or practices

if there exists a system and a govt , its duty is to shift the workers to a necessary job, not to discard them .. remember those are human not plastic cups..

but honestly its not the first time I see a worker that doesnt have any idea which class he/she belongs to and defending the masters rights


however, I can see the "basic" idea behind the objection of ordinary workers to these strikes.. they may/can take a bigger portion from the cake..

kust at that point I think its good to remember this " divide and conquer (or manage)"

I can't fault them around this way, but there are pockets of dreadful service (Bletchley - look for your lost mail in the canal, and over at Mums - wait a few days, the lazy git will deliver them when he gets enough to make it worthwhile).

Having been a member of the CWU in the past, I'm not surprised. An old school union who like to get all shouty and constantly use works like outrage, but ultimately couldn't give a toss about their members...   ...ask some of my colleagues who the union are accepting quite bad changes, simply because they either don't understand, or can't be arsed.

I'm glad I'm not relying on them for all the shinanigans thats going on at work at the moment, as they are useless. Still, that said, so is the union who represents my grades, who don't even bother requesting a meeting with the company. 'tards.
