Power cuts to come?

A very good friend who works in the nuclear power generation industry has warned me that there are very serious talks going on and it is definite that there will be planned switch offs coming our way.....first I have heard about this and WTF is going on???? Have I been living under a stone or something :-\

I'll bet the next government will have lots of these types of wheezes. Power cuts, savings tax, eating the disabled...whatever next?

Speculation and (accidentally-on purpose) memo leaks are a great way of gauging opinion.
