Plenty of it around here, not done any for many many years.......... ;) ;)

Did a lot of range shooting 1972/73 using an SLR rifle, little bit with a Sub Machine Gun?.........iirc hurts a lot less than a shotgun..... :D :D

I shot for many years at Bisley, pistol, SMG, Target rifle, and No 4 then SLR, and amazed myself in 1973 - and everyone else - by winning the RAF pistol championship, but I loved the SLR service rifle competitions. I've sold all my target rifles now, sticking to air rifle against pigeons. :y

I shoot game and deer/rabbits,

once or twice a year we have an hour or two at the clays, or on a range,

its not the same as the real thing, and the banter on a shoot is the best.

I'll just sit back and wait for the comments from the' Townies'.................. ;) ;)

Our cat caught a pigeon on monday , sat with it in its mouth alive  :o It had a busted wing so had to put it to sleep . I wouldnt eat it unless the gas/elec goes up anymore  :(

Shot clays for  few years, got my FAC, had a browning O/U and a remmy 22/250 and a 243,  did target shooting at Strensall, nr York. And then gave it all up. Now work for a game dealer, so see thousands of pheasants, deer etc  ;D ;D ;D

I wouldn't mind a pair of Bespoke Holland & Holland over and under shotguns ;) :y :y :y

I think I'd prefer the money :y ;D ;D

I think Mr Opti has a vast collection of Holland and Holland shotguns for shooting on his estate, glorious 12th etc, etc, see if he wants to sell one.   :y ;) :)

In my case, I shot rabbits, hares, deer, and did eat what I shot, and sold the rest through my butchers shop that I owned, apart from the very many foxes I shot as part of vermin control for local farmers.
