Just dropped my daughter at her school disco. Could hardly see a thing because the inside was so smeared up. wiped it over but i know whatever i use will still leave smears. What do you guys use.

Water with some vinegar, (or just vinegar on its own) does wonders. Need to do both mine again soo.

AutoGlym Fast Glass - But use a microfibre cloth.

Unless you smoke?  If you do, a sponge with washing-up liquid and warm water first and then use Fast Glass.

Best stuff I've ever used, I use it with that blue absorbent paper they use in garages.

vinegar with newspaper, takes all the smears out. failing that window cleaner with newspaper always worked when I was cabbing.

I used to use AG Fast Glass but tried Meguiars Perfect Clarity (from halfords about £7) and have been very impressed.  It leaves the windows very clear with no smearing.  It is so good my wife has stolen it to do all the mirrors in the house

Newspaper? News print ink is oil based. Not near my screen thankyou. Unprinted newspaper fine. Or any cloth or roll that's clean.

I use that green Mr Muscle glass cleaner.

As arse backwards as it might sound, why do you think chips always used to come wrapped in newspaper

Personally I use Turtlewax clear screen? removed and buffed with blueroll followed by their glass polish applied and removed with polishing cloth, works a treat

To absorb grease. However unprinted newspaper isn't readily available. What is available has grease in it, as its printed. Which will be dislodged by a de greaser like vinegar.

Better available IMO. No?

LIDL spectacle cleaning wipes.

£1.29 a pack of 50 - just keep them in the glovebox - two will do the entire windscreen.
Quite good for cleaning glasses as well...
