Paxo wouldnt be allowed to give Brand (a certifiable moron) a hard time, even if he wanted to. Brand used to write a column for the Guardian,and is worshipped by its staff and readers like some kind of messiah.
Just about everyone involved in the production of Newsnight these days is a former Guardian journalist.
If brand needs some smack I would be more than willing to chip in to help supply him with a large (over)dose.
