KEY FOB STOPPED OPENING CAR

KEY FOB STOPPED OPENING CAR OBVIOUSLY CANT GET IN THE BOOT ALARM GOES OFF WHEN YOU OPEN MANUALLY ,FITTED BRAND NEW BATTERY IN KEY FOB STILL NOT WORKING .RED LIGHT FLASHES OK ON KEY FOB.ANYONE GOT ANY IDEAS .THANKS

iirc, keys in ignition and turned so ignition lights on but car not started.

Lock and unlock the car with the fob. 

I think that was about right?   :-\

Yep turn caps lock off mate - its considered as shouting ;)

Unlock car with key and start to turn alarms off.

Then key in ignition, ignition on, press fob key - doors should lock and unlock.  Fob then sync'ed to car :y

Take the panel off, clean the contacts, and pop it back on. If that fails, the HU and panel have diassociated themselves, and thats game over.
