Saw that on the BBC news. Quite an horrific thing to experience and survive. One person said they dread November every year. I couldn't live with that threat every year but most people have no choice where they live.

Scary stuff. 
 we always moan about the weather but I can honestly say I don't think I'd like to live anywhere else in the world. Sure it's nice to get away for a couple of weeks to sunnier climes, but I always look forward to getting home. I especially like the cold frosty mornings that turn into bright sky's by mid day, just like today.
To have to deal with storms and suchlike on a regular basis must be a nightmare.
