This is just brilliant!
« on: 08 November 2013, 18:01:28 »

A couple in our cul-de-sac who have just retired, bought a motorhome which they have been parking on their drive.

There is a covenant on the properties that says you cannot park caravans, motorhomes, commercial vehicles, have aerials etc.

The next door neighbour (a real busybody and pain in the butt) complained about it, and shortly afterwards a solicitors letter arrived (from her solicitor) warning them about the covenant.

The covenant is only enforceable by the builder of the estate.

As it's a fully licensed vehicle, they have now moved it from their drive, and parked in front of her house on the road.

There's sod all she can do about it.

Can't wait to see the outcome ;D

Yep, a good one  ;D ;D

You might want to have a word with the couple tho', might be an idea to have a quick looksey about for nails, when they want to move it......the old bag probably isnt upto letting down tyres but may be prone to drop things  :-\

Nice one!  :y :y :y

The interfering bitch! I'm sure that I've upset a few around and about by keeping my caravan at home, there is/was a covenant here to preventing caravans being kept at the front of the house ...... mine's at the side.  ::)

Caravans should be banned from sight in residential areas - people should pay for proper storage

Symptomatic of everything wrong with the modern world.

Someone does what a good capitalist(we are all supposed to be earning and spending and consuming to keep the world going) does. Buys a bit of glitter.

Someone else hasn't got one and finds a way of inconveniencing(bringing them down a peg or two) the people that have.

It all boils down to people living too close to each other in groups that are too big(more than 400)

The answer is of course uniformity. Everything you do from waking to and including sleeping is controlled by the state. No one would be able to step out of line then.
