hey everyone, only one thing needed for the itv next week, the reversing lights have stopped working. .. grrrr...

obviously i need to check the fuse and the bulbs, but whats the next step? have someone sit in the car and select / run thru the gears, see if they light up at all?

if they dont, is it new switch time or are they not a regular failure item? can it be adjusted? 22mm offset ring or grips for the switch isnt it? the wiring could be bad i guess, the fog lights still work as far as i know.

Reversing lights are switched by the autobox selector switch, so if everything else looks OK, pull the plug to the selector switch and bridge the 2 pins with the Black and White and Black wires. If the lights come on, the selector switch needs a clean out, or possibly replacement if it's beyond repair.
