Is it a new series?

Turned to the Alibi channel last night at 9pm as new series of Inspector George Gently started last week,surprised to find it wasn't on[must've been a short series!!]anyway began scrolling through menu to find on BBC1 an episode of Ripper Street[hooray!]is this a new series of that excellent programme or are they re-runs?I didn't see them all in previous series so I don't know which it is.

Yes, Ripper Street is a new series, now on BBC1 2100 Monday's! :y :y :y :y :y

It is at least as good as the first series; brilliant! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
